The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for these shotguns is set between $960 and $975. Tristar’s Cypher Sporting, also known as the Cypher SP, is exclusively available in a 12-gauge configuration and boasts a slightly heavier build at 7.2 pounds with a 30-inch barrel, along with an adjustable cheek riser, priced at $1,025 MSRP.
In addition, the Cypher X showcases a lightweight design courtesy of its aluminium frame, available across the same gauge variety as the Cypher, with weights ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 pounds, and prices mirroring those of the standard Cypher. These shotguns arrive equipped with a selection of SK, IC, M, IM, F extended Mobil-pattern chokes, and also feature a single selective trigger. Tristar points out that the build maintains the same internal mechanism as their Trinity line, but opts for a less elaborate exterior finish.
Taking a different approach, Tristar’s Trinity II series offers another new option on the market. With an MSRP of $855, these shotguns include all the familiar chamberings from 12 gauge to .410. Each Trinity II model sports a 28-inch barrel length, with the base model featuring a steel receiver complemented by gold inlay. For those looking for a lighter alternative, the Trinity II LT variant includes an aluminum receiver. Tristar staff indicated that customers can expect these shotguns to be available in stores soon.
Moreover, Tristar has expanded its selection to include a new side-by-side shotgun made in cooperation with their Turkish partner, Kral, at a recently established factory. The shotgun, available in 12 or 20 gauge, includes removable Mobil chokes and features a glossy-finish Turkish walnut stock with laser-cut checkering. Enhanced with a case-colored receiver and equipped with a single selective trigger, this side-by-side shotgun presents a combination of traditional aesthetics and modern functionality. With a 28-inch barrel and weighing in at 6.9 pounds, this side-by-side variant carries an MSRP of $795.
